475 gallon (Asain aro , 10 x severums , flagtail ,10 x denison barbs)

If he keep it off live then it's might work out, 1 of my LFS had 20 inches long Red Aro in their display tank with a bunch of Denision Barbs at their maxed size for years, the store owner feed him pellets. He used sand substrate and low profile driftwood so all those barbs and other smaller fishes hang around there and the Aro completely ignored them.
 
I agree with some of the other people here. The rocks take up too much swimming space and does not look good. I'd throw it away and put in some a nice driftwood branch instead. It would look a lot more natural. I'd also get rid of the gravel and put in some brown or tan colored sand.

Are you sure about the dimensions? It looks a little bit smaller than a 475 g tank.
 
Yeah a lot of people told me it doesn't look like a 475g but i made the guy measure it in front me...The dens ion barbs are in with arowana in the shop now for 2 weeks waiting to be put into my tank and the aro completely ignores them and gets fed pellets.

It's a totally different story from keeping them in a shop with lots of traffic compared to home

The tank only looks 24" wide I'm basing my opinion on the top view with the size of the stress bars
Then I split the top view in half and it looks like 2 x 12" or less

But if it was made to your spec then you will know for sure

But from the way the tank is set up with gravel and the rocks it looks like a ex display tank to me

No it was built from scratch but the workshop tried to get fancy with the rock messed it all up...I ended up putting sand and lots of driftwood...Im going to measure it again ur making me doubt myself lol...Yeah i know fish in display tanks don't display same aggression than in the home tank but its looking good and he doesn't eat anything but pellets so at least i have a better chance

does anyone have ideas of what i can add instead of the sevs if it was there tank ? I'm open to ideas(aro,dension barbs,flag tail are for sure)
