49ft. snake?!?!?

i dont care how long it was i want it. that thing is huge.
 
i thought i remember hearing of some type of large cash reward to the person who finds a snake exceeding xft(dont remember how big exactly). any1 else hear this? think i heard it on some tv special where they were trying to find the worlds biggest snake.

In 1912 (give or take a year), Theodore Roosevelt offered $1000 for the live capture of any snake over 30 feet long. Since then, that reward has been increased by several different wildlife foundations and individuals. However, it has yet to be claimed.

Coincidentally, that same year (1912), a reticulated python was shot in Maylasia and was measured to be 32 ft, 9 inches. This is still the longest snake world record according to Guinness. It, however, raises the question of whether the snake was measured before or after it was killed, as a dead snake can be stretched.

So far, I have yet to hear of an authenticated case of a living snake over 30 ft long.

I am sorry but you think that because an animal is not a Homo sapien you think their life is worth nothing? if so i think you are on the wrongforum...




And yeah this snake is old news, Massive Girth and such but not 32' 10".

you and me both, I don't care if it's 49 feet or 29 feet... if I opened the door and saw that damn thing around.... I bet you wouldn't notice where I went... it would be like one of those cartoons where it's just a fog outline where I was standing...

I have no problems dealing with a smaller "normal" sized snake but something is wrong with a snake that big IMO :eek: they are nothing but a huge muscle

Where does is say that I think an animals life is worth nothing huh? Why would I care for my fish if they meant nothing? I said that's a Human's is worth more, without a doubt! So tell me something. Am I still on the wrong forum?
