Looking good mate. I love that room! How many hours per day would you say you spend in it? Also, how does your big severums go with your angelfish?

big severums go with angels just perfect for me... i put these angels in as babies.. and they grew big fast... i spend on and off in the room.. sometimes just kick back and learn from just watching them.. they all have little qirks that let you know how their doing... i can read them well after awhile.. fun..

love the fish room! I never have luck with columbian cats, whats your secret on care?

the main thing is when cc are small take care that no other fish bother them... and as they grow to about 6 inches start acclimating them to brackish water...then eventually as mine are now to full salt... and feed hikari pellets as a staple... then everything else as a treat.

Hey Liz. Great fish room and fish as usual. Any update on your jag and silver arrow? Wonder if the bad boys are doing well.

thanks for asking..they are doing great...old jag is such a ham... never had a fish do this.... i can feed everyone around the room... if he sees me pic up the red jar that he knows is his food... he will bang the top of the tank with excitement... sometimes i have to remenber not to touch the red jar until i am ready to feed him... the arow is 7 years old and doing great.. i will update soon.

Thanks for nice compliment... we use Rena xp1- xp2 and on large tanks rena Xp3..from dr.Foster and Smith and some tanks we have two per tank.. the small tanks we use the old fashioned box corner filters since we still had some.. they work good for small tanks.. i don't think they make them anymore.

we pay the electric bill.. haha ..who else would.. during power outage we have a generator that hooks up to take care of the two fish rooms and tanks..

So when it snows like 10 feet in NY(you live in NY right?) your fishies will be enjoying the good life while outside there's 10 feet of snow, lol.
