You should check out AquariaCentral's terrarium section. It's like MFKs exotics but its exotics mixed with terrariums. They could be helpful.
One of these days I'm going to make a FW shrimp tank. If you're interested in them talk to the mod Msjinkzd over on AC. She has a bunch of shrimp tanks containing lots of different species. They work really well for nano sized tanks like yours.

I dont know if same sex will fight,or anything about them but they kept 2 and did well in 5 gallon terrarium
