I like bahaman anoles for small tanks. People say they're not good "pets" but i've had them before and i think they're pretty neat. As long as you dont plan on handling them and you have REALLY sharp reflexes, I think it'd be pretty cool. You can pick a couple up for about $5 - 10, depending. Careful when you're cleaning the tank though. They're lightning fast and if they get out, chances are you won't see them alive again.

Sorry but in my experience even smaller anoles need alot more space than a 5.5 galon to feel confortable I corrently house my male green in a 60cm high by 50cm wide cage and when i get a few females for it I will house them all in a much bigger cage.

I had 2 in a 10 gal and they seemed just fine. Lasted for a while and were colorful. Overall a pretty happy pair.

5.5 is kind of small for dart frogs.
Most need 10 gals per frog but I must say I have quite a few pairs housed in 10 gals.

you get your tarantula yet?Why wouldn't you get one?If your wanting some little frogs I would just get a bigger tank.
