5 inch baby RTC not feeding

If you want to get him on pellets then just wait out a week, don't try to feed him anything. Then after one week get some sinking pellets or shrimp pellets and drop them in front of him and he/she will devour them in seconds! Only feed about 10 pellets though.

Thanks for the ade but surley pellets will start to cost loads? I am thinking prawns, bloodworms and krill as mixed as a staple, is that ok?

So true! All baby fish are a bit skittish. It's their natural instinct. I had a red devil that took a week to settle in but once he did he was an absolute terror at 2inches lol

I dropped six prawns at night and in 15 they disappeared! lol I think my baby softie may have eaten one or two but not six! lol
