yeah i was pretty mad, it took me months to get that female to breed. But ever since my fish have been breeding out of control. I have way too many spawns that i cant take care of them all! Im about to sell some of my pairs

my paratilapia have eaten 2 clutches of eggs/fry. 1st time - ate the eggs, 2nd time - ate the freshly hatched fry. Right after I talked to a local store owner who wanted to buy them all! Now he's not in business and I have a new batch I stole from the parents due to their poor record. Mom is still raising her remaining fry, ironically, hasn't eaten them and is now paranoid of me! Sorry about your loss, cgronco. remove the pleco and try for next time.

what type of pleco was it, I'm not going to hate just curious. man if a pleco ate that many discus eggs I'd be really piss oFF, I'd more or likely get manic and yank that pleco out of the water and choke him till he spit the eggs out.

it was just a common pleco. I took him out of the tank. He is having a great time in his new home.
