Bruce, Thanks mate. Those 2 are currently 7 and 8" long at 1 year old. Theres a 5" silver dollar in the tank that wants to mate with the small one.

I have only got 1 Rhombeus but the PH is 7. AN di try to keep nitrite to a minimum.pirahna1950;1196725; said:

Its always good to trace a fish back to its origins and then slowly re acclimate it back to the original bios. Less headaches for you and the fish.

Their doing great!!!!!!!!!!!!! They just eat alot. They have eaten 8 jumbo shirmps in the last 36 hours. Can't wait to get rid of some, before they eat me out of house and home. My Silver aro eats 5 shrimps, RTC eats 4 shrimps, My cichlid tank gets 3 shrimps, my 3 jars get a total of two, and the piranhas get 3 shrimp at a time. Luckly the farmer had a going out of business sale and had shrimp on sale for like 70%off. I got those bags of shrimp that cost $55 regularly that come with like 40 jumbo shrimp. I ended up walking out of the grocery store with $1000 worth of seafood for $300

I have to agree with Karajo on the catfish meat...didn't like it....even though my RBP thought it was good, it disintegrated in my water, and made it a mess.
Those wun'inchers (purposely spelled wrong) should be able to wrap their bottomless pits around cichlid pellets too. They're good for them. ^_^

$55 for 40 jumbo shrimp? You're better off buying 60-80 count per pound shrimp for about 3 bucks a pound.
Sushi- catfish is a fatty fish. You're better off feeding tilapia to your RBPs. (Pollack is cheap near here, less than two bucks a pound)

My piranha doesn't like tilapia, so I picked up some pollock and......something else.....oh perch!! for 79 cents per 4 oz pack.
He eats freeze-dried baby shrimp, cichlid pellets, and I haven't tried the new fish meat yet.
