Note to self: don't let FX5's sit with stagnant water for 3 months...

Finished cleaning the burping FX5's, auto top off system, UV filter, organizing all my random aquarium materials, and started cleaning the inside of the aquarium.
Planning to get the sand out in the next couple of days to start the polishing process and hopefully remove the aquarium from the stand next weekend.
In reference to a previous post, has anyone had trouble growing out pbass in a large aquarium? Is it safe to assume they will not have trouble finding food?

I am glad you are getting your Monster tank going again. I think the Peacock Bass idea is great. I look forward to your future updates. 
Keeping pbass with arowana is pretty simple. Just make sure the pbass are too big to be eaten by the arowana and vice versa.
Today I removed the 200 lbs of pool filter sand from the aquarium. My wife even helped me out! She loves fish, but flowers+candy and she is a real helper! Definitely a keeper! Below is the progress so far.
Planning to start the polishing process tomorrow. Going to test an electric sander (linear not orbital) on some scrap at work because I have only done smaller pieces by hand. I am worried it will take to long if I do it by hand. Luckily I already have all the sandpaper and Novus at work, so I just need to pick up an electric sander and buffer tomorrow.
