500 Gallon Salt Tank EXPLODED !!!

I was at work today and got called away for a emergency clean up by all managers.. Found out the 500 gallon salt tank in the lobby blew.. Here's a couple bad pics with my cel phone.. did probably $100,000.00 worth of damage.. All the wood floor, and the carpet will probably have to be replaced. Not to mention ther was all kinds of sparks flying out of the electrical boxes right next to the tank.. All in all no fish were killed, we scooped them off the floor and did the 2 second aclimation (aka dumped them) into another salt tank around the corner..lol

Talk about a massive clean up job!! Did all the water get out or just most? Why or how did it break?

was the tank under warranty? I would be contacting the manufacturer over that. tanks just don't explode unless something was defective or not built properly....

something tells me that after all that, the replacement tank will be somewhere around 10-20 gallons..

looks like the front face of the tank blew off which means the whole tank was emptied in about 4 seconds.
