jesus and in a hotel lobby, my girlfriends dad has a 500 gallon in a living room

This actually "WAS" in the middle of a Hospital Lobby..
The guy was actually cleaning the tank and saw the crack, and was in the middle of calling it in to the company and "BOOM" !! there it went.. I've never seen so much water all over the damn floor.

WOW... it would be so funny if some one was just checkin out the tank and then all of a sudden they just get washed away by 500 gallons HA!

I'm guessing the tank is a custom job and probably should be thicker...

But dang.. that is scary....

I believe it was 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 it was thick as hell.. not sure what caused it to fail but it did BIG TIME..
