Top Layer - AROWANAS (1 black/silver, 3 - 4 asian)

Middle Layer - Dats / Flagtails

Bottom Layer - Rays ... P. Leopoldi are my favorite :D

... and something unusual e.g. a pig nose turtle aka fly river turtle aka PNT

I have also seen an aro/ray combo with discus in the middle layer ... looked really cool and they also like slightly acidic water (as do rays & aros)

I wish I had the choices to make that you do!!! (lucky bast**d) :grinno:

I would ditch the flagtails and FRT.

I just wouldnt risk that with rays.

Other than that it would be pretty awesome.
 
go buy 500 male bettas that will make a interesting tank
 
some one keeps deleting my post

so i will type it again anyone who trys to put a fly river turtle and a ray in the same tank is a fool
 
Why is that T1KARMANN? Do they not mix well? (stupid question, I guess the answere actually quite clear, but what are the problems with mixing the two? )

ERMMMM the turtle has claws and a powerful beck that will rip a ray to bits FRTS kill for fun

the turtle needs to come up for air if the ray has cloaked it when it needs air it will drown

FRT make a hell of a lot of waste

the list goes on
 
sorry i havnt been keeping up on this thread. all i have in the tank right now is a large mouth bass. i have decided to keep a native tank. if someone tells me how to post pics i will.
 
If it is really a 500gal tank-

tiger shovelnose, clown or featherfin knife, adonis or any other large ancistrus pleco, marble sailfin catfish, clown loaches, chocolate cichlids, or synspilums, etc etc etc

I would have sooo much fun with a 500g tank.
