Despite the water clarity, you have some amazing stock, IMO. Wish I could find more species of Gar locally. Can't wait for updated shots once you get the water to clear up a bit!

Great footprint on the tank and some good looking fish.
500g glass. I bet your back still hurts. Lol. Still a great size tank to look at your fish in.
Those fx-5's will make a huge difference. Imo they are hands down the best canister.

The big gars were less than kind to the small ones, they are all in the 150 putting on length until I think it's safe.

Glad to see the gars are doing good. If Your water parameters are stable now, Look into hooking up a UV It will help clear the tank up. Also if you have nearby plumbing set up a auto water changer. It is the best thing I ever did. I do about 400 gallons a week on the 750g without even lifting a finger. I just change the filter socks every 10 days or so

Don't want to hijack the thread but how did you set up the auto water change? you can PM with a link or something?
