I never said you had to start with amazing parents, really just trial and error and I agree not so nice adults can make really nice pups but also all pups in a batch can be so different as well makes making and desired pattern tough as you don't know who will be best. Not knowing the parents and grandparents and their grandparents, wouldnt it be amazing to see the whole line for 5 generations of any ray, would be cool to compare them all, like others might I cant say too much on this ray but I can guess off experience, no matter what ive said it before and ill say it again this is a great ray one I would gladly own but Ive never won the lotto so ill keep waiting for my rays to get me something close maybe one day.
Do we really have definitive proof that nice adults throw nice pups? I've seen first hand how mediocre adults can throw absolutely stunning pups. I feel the ray in this thread is a textbook example of winning the genetic lottery...a perfect storm if you will.
