1 of the best is King Aquarium, San Jose! Bay aquarium in San Jose is ok.

I would agree w/you in the past, but no anymore. Probably due to economy, store just not the same.

alot of fish still healthy, but alot of their tanks now have extremely cloudy water.

wnt there today, and two weeks ago, water still cloudy on half the tanks.

I recommend Neptune aquatics for africans and small SA cichlids and planted tank concepts.

Dolphin pet village is also a store I would recommend.

aquatic central in frisco is really cool

Thanks for input I'll defiantly check those out. I've bought at Connies and they are OK, high prices on a lot of stuff and sometimes they have rare fish. I'm looking for Datnoids and Flagtails currently.

If you are looking for datnoids, check out the vendor Exotic Aquatics. He is selling out in San Jose now. His price list for dats are:

Oddball Indo Datnoid 3" $20
Oddball Indo Datnoid 4" $25
Thinbar Datnoid 4" $25

Thanks went to Superway and it was my kind of place, hole in the wall! Went to Connie also and yep dirty and not very approachable, nothing exciting, in fact I've never had anyone ask me if I needed something.

I want your red festae.

I always go to Sixth Avenue for their good prices. Be Aware water quality is terrible. Be ready to acclimate and dip for all types of diseases. I got 5 EBJD there and 4 died. I also go to this other spot in San Bruno off San Bruno Ave. Called Aqua trader only opens Friday-Sunday. They have a lot of Africans and south Americans at decent prices.

Is that the wholesaler place? I live in San Bruno so that's close to my house. Do you know exactly what street it is off of?

stay out of the city, ive been to most and there all crappy w/ dirty ass water/ sick fish. im always excited when i find a new store in sf and am disapointed everytime. ultimate aquarium in san mateo is good but pricey, and the hung ming on geneva that was mentioned earlier is pretty good too. i always see great driftwood at hung ming.

aqua trader is on san bruno ave down the street from rolling pin donuts. there oooook, worth lookin, dunno if its worth buying.
