What species is that? Are they aggressive? Lol love the tank! What are you using for heating? Where did you get the fiberglass cloth?

Its a parastic species, they bleed you dry! Belive it or not I am only using 1 300w heater and the tank is staying put at 78.5 degrees. I added cheap homemade lids that act as a double pane window of sorts, has 2 layers of plastic with a air layer between that seems to be acting as a insulating layer. It's doing a tremendous job keeping the heat in, besides the fact that the wood is a good insulator as well. I will try to remember to post some pics tonight when I get home. The fiberglass cloth came from US Composites, the stuff was great as I had never worked with fiberglass before I couldn't of been happier with it.

Thats actually what I was planning on using but neither local home depot or lowes had any for whatever reason. So I put my brain to use and that's all I could come up with, but tbh it's working FAR better than expected so I may not buy the corrugated plastic when they get it back in stock.

Where's the fishies at? Lol
