523 gallon plywood build (pic heavy)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
So far the stock list is:

10 Cyathopharynx Foai Kachese
10 Fossochromis Rostratus
6 Yellow Labs
6 Dimidiochromis compressiceps
3 Pseudotropheus cyaneorhabdos Maingano
6 Christmas fulu - Haplochromis (Xystichromis) phytophagus
7 Aulonocara stuartgranti ´hai Reef´ blue neon peacocks
7 Placidochromis phenochilus tanzania "starphire"
10 Tropheus Duboisi 'maswa'

I tried to take some pictures but they are all babies 1.5" or so and every pic came out blurry because they are all so crazy active. I may try again later and see if I can get a clear pic :)

Absolutely fantastic! I love that you have a huge tank and go for Tangs- by far the most worthy. They will look awesome when grown and up to stocking levels. Don't get me wrong, I keep bigger stuff (ripsaws, pike, granulosa, fly river turtle, dats etc) but Tangs are different class!

Take a video if pics ain't working! Lol

Sent from my LG-P925 using MonsterAquariaNetwork App

Took a quick video with my cell phone so it's not the best (not the cameras fault I just suck!) The 10 Cyathopharynx Foai Kachese and 10 Fossochromis Rostratus are not in the tank yet (in growout).

After a couple months the tank is still going strong, could not be happier with the way it turned out. There's been no issues with leaks that I can tell and the filters are working beautifully keeping the water so clear most of the time you can't tell there's water in it :) I took a couple quick pics after I picked up some Crytocara Moorii's, very crappy quality because I just plain suck at taking photo's but still nice look!

Awesome build looks great

Wow, that is just amazing. I especially like the recessed frame with the pebbles. Nice! :)

Thanks guys, I was really skeptical about the pebbles in the recessed area (after all it was my wife's idea so it's cant't be right, right? ;) ) but I am really happy with the way it turned out, glad you like it!
