Thanks for the pic DB, I have to reconfigure some of my plumbing. Just not moving the water I expected. Slight delays but...it's a learning experience.
I wonder if it's that long horizontal run before the RFS? Horizontal flow is a fraction what verticle flow is.
Maybe try a pair of 45s going into and inside of the rfs instead of 90s? The gradual angle of 2 45s should increase flow over a 90.
Standpipes could help as well, there may even be a benefit in adding one before the drawer tower as it looks like a bit of a horizontal run there too....
Kinda what I was thinking, it's a little late for standpipes in the tank. But my flow I think is restricting at the 3"T. I'm going to configure it with the 45 fitting like yours then the double 45 into the RFS then do a standpipe in the 2nd chamber. Trial and error, such a pain. Should have been up and running!
Hey DB I have my tank up and running, fish are in it but I se to have a dead spot smack dab in the middle of the tank. How did you route your return and are u running any power heads or air stones in the tank?
