ok what about this
2 breeding nics
2 breeding nicolis
6 odessa barbs
4-5 dario loaches
something els small

why not some silver dollars? They add some good movement to the tank.

i love odessa barbs

I wouldn't put 2 breeding pairs of cichlids in a 55. You could do a pair of nics, another small CA cichlid (con, sajica, firemouth, ect), with the odessa barbs and the loaches.

so it would be 2 nics and 2 pseudocrenilabrus nicholsi, and odessa barbs and dario loaches, and maybe something els, so how is that bio load, do i have to lose anything like loaches, and what if they breed do i have to wory about the loaches

ahh so what on would i want two to breed and one of one darn that a hard one

IMO A pair of nics is going to need a lot bigger than a 55. I would say at LEAST a 75. But, that's just my opinion. Also when you say Nics I assume you are talking about Hypsophrys nicaraguensis.

i would put in a pair of HRP or Firemouths, and then fill the rest with a mix of congo tetras and harlequin rasboras

so 2 nics wont work
