i know i shouldnt of get them but they where free and if they get to big then i will say bye bye, i got a male nic-4 in and a female nic-6in and they are paired they are in my 55 with 5 odessa barbs and 2 dario loaches, and they like to dig, do you realy think that they will get to big or look to big for the tank, honist opions
 
If you are taking all the fish you have now out of the 55, then I would say go with some Discus! I think around 5 can be in a 55, and there are many different strains.
 
k the nics are not going to work the female is killing the male so no with the stocking with out the nics, i want just like what i said before, or could i get 3 or 4 smallers in the or breeding pair, or 2 breeding pair of small fish, like 2 firemouths, and something that can feend it self or 2 breeding key holes, but are the odessas to bostrious

i would try geos or Cryptoheros sajica aka T-bar cichlid to breed.
 
well i cant get the sajica, and i though all geos got to big
