take that back... just ran to petsmart and the 2-4" specimens are about $12

ya i looked 2 their online selection n they r advertised @ $10.50. how is their temperment tho?

according to petsmart they are listed as semi-aggresive

I've seen leaf fish at petsmart, they are awsome! love the coloring, Just did'nt fit in with my whole big cichlid scheme.

I've got a 4" spotted leaf fish we picked up at petsmart, had him in a 55 but recently moved him in with the big boys. He is in a tank with an oscar, dempsey, and juvenile RTC. No one even seems to notice he is there. Granted the tank is a 240 and he has plenty of hiding spots, but the cichlids don't pay any attention to him. The only one I'm worried about is the catfish. He's pushing 12-13" and could easily fit him in his mouth, but we keep them pretty well fed so he doesn't even look twice, for now.

Just went there tonite and they had a tank full of them. maybe n a couple of weeks i can go back and get 2 of them. Ended up gettin 2 senegal bichirs and 2 sm. angelfish. everyone seems to be doin good and starting to get settled in already!

the bichirs are both around 2.5"

that is a small bichir... i got mine at about 6". i've seen a few between 2.5-3" and they look fragile

but a good choice
