its my bros tank but its not hith they just run into stuff like must other oscers

No dude, that looks like bad HITH to me... There's nothing in that tank to run in to anyway?

Agreed, really bad HITH.

The murky water is a dead give away about the water conditions in his tank. And over stocked under filtrated Oscar tank is never a good idea.

i am upgradeing from a 55g to 75g

  • I currently one red devil(midas)
  • one rainbow shark
  • a pleco(with a missing eye)
  • and a 3inch sm bass
i plan to stock the old 55 with ebjd(s),2 or 3 angel fish, cory cat or pleco or both, maby bambo shrimp or maby discus.I know angels are agresive when it comes to eating but frozen blood worm normaly helps them eat. Do you think i could do somthing different; any questions?

ummm so what going to be in the 55gallon... i would do a 3 angelfish 5 tetras, 4 corys 1 pleco...

EBJD can be just as aggressive as normal JDs despite their more peaceful reputation. The angles could have a pretty hard time with them. Shrimp will be eaten immediately by the ebjd, angels, discus, and possibly even the pleco. Everyone here has pretty much hit the nail on the head. I like the angels, tetras, corys idea. skip the pleco, it will get huge and it will be messy.

o ya its not hith on my bros oscers. They did use to run into stuff when they were little now they just have scars. Its hard to tell in any video i have of them. Ill make a new one soon. although his water quality is pretty crappy and the tank is overcrowded its not hith but please stay on the topic.

dude you should keep discus away from other cichlids, they are more sensitive and can die big time if they catch HITH. if you want some discus dont get a ebjd
