ok so no discus. im ganna get ebjd 1-2(most likly 1), angels 2-3, tetras, and some corys 2-3 or 4. o yay my brother just walked in and said to ask you guys if i should put an oscer or a sevrum in there.

EBJD + Angels I don't think will work well in a 55.

And 1 Oscar needs a 75g tank to himself.

Based on the water quality if your brother's tank I would be shocked if it wasn't HITH.

why wont an ebjd work with angle tell me i've own both but never mixed them.

secondly its not hith. i thought i was to. but the scars used to come up all the time then heal over. but now there is nothing in there for them to run into and they have not gotten any scars in a while im gonna do an update video of the shortly

because the EBJD will tear the angels fins apart, plain and simple. I've got a juvy EBJD and honestly that little dude is meaner than the 4" JD i picked up yesterday. They aren't always peaceful. In a 55 I'd probably go with the EBJD, 3 spotted pictus, and some kind of tetra/giant danio school of about 5

EBJD can be just as aggressive as normal JDs despite their more peaceful reputation. The angles could have a pretty hard time with them.

Exactly the reasons above.
