Wait do you guys know anything about REGANI DWARF PIKE CICHLID (CRENICICHLA REGANI)

I got one, they seem hardy but territorial and predatory to smaller fish, or what can fit in their mouths. And non tall bodied fish up to 1.5 inches will get eaten or bit in half.

Awe I wish....I very highly doubt it could get the other half to even half agree to that....he hates my tanks and even hates of the idea I want most of the basement.....he wants the garage, basement, and kitchen....when I type that he sounds very selfish haha he’s not though...just thinks fish are a waste of time

The fish he's referencing is from northern South America and typically called a pink pacu in English, but which is known to science as Myleus pacu. Typical adult size is 15" or so.

As far as I'm aware of the elusive sheepshead pacu is smaller than that.

You could *probably* get away with $4-5 in that tank, but only if it's a smaller species.

If you can get a 75 instead, your potential options explode. A used 75 is typically the exact same price as a used 55 if you're patient.

To be honest, after having a decent size group in a 75 I wouldn't recommend them for anything smaller than a 6 footer. Just too skittish.

So with lots careful thinking i may get 4 MIKROGEOPHAGUS RAMIREZI cichlids for my 30 gallon also i think i may not get african butterfly for risk of it eating the german blue rams

I can guarantee that unless you were to get a 1" ram there is no chance of it getting eaten.
