i was wondering what predatory fish would be good in a 55 gallon

May want to do a little research on your own as well. I do not think a rd would fit for life in a 12in wide tank. Just my opinion. Im sure you will get others.

20-30 exodons! or 20-30 wimple parahnas would be awesome they are an actaul pirahna and they stay small. a wolf fish!!!!! they have teeth and are gnarly! A few needlefish which stay about 1' long. they are peaceful but destroy feeders. a pike cichlid. just about any kind. I might remember a few more. I'll comment back if i do. wolf fish is your best bet. they are awesome. big nasty teeth 2.
