1. Your fish will eventually all get too large for that tank/too large to live with eachother.
2. Catching your fish and holding them like that is stressful for them.
3. Pacus get wayyyy to big for thattank no matter what the nice people at petsmart say.
If you have any questions just ask, feel free to ask. You will eventually need to upgrade that tank to at least 125 gallons and sell the pacific.

Also, you have 2 threads with exactly the same thing, and you've bumped each one yourself 5 times with no other comments....
300 gallons probably isn't big enough for pacu, you should ask pacu mom about her experiences with pacu.
