Earlier I was thinking of an african 55 since my 75 was south american but have decided it's best to go another SA route. I would like to keep as much open space in the tank as possible and only keep mexican pebbles with black sand with very light manzanita driftwood....would like to go with the following.

4 geo red head tapajos....3.5 inch currently
12 columbian tetras
1 blue phantom pleco

Filtration....aquaclear 110 and penguin 350

Edit... picking up a 75 today for a good price so thinking of transferring sand/filters/driftwood over and selling the 55. I think the extra 6 inch wide will make a difference in the geo grow outs.

Prob up it to
6 red heads
12 columbians
And try both a blue and green phantom pleco.

The driftwood is pretty big so another option would be to use this piece which was once in my current 75 gallon. The larger piece would be good for cover if I have both a blue and green phantom pleco

I'll let you guys vote.

Bro I can’t stand looking at your tank! My grass is identical to yours but I can’t grow it if my life depends on it. It keeps melting and rotting away. I’m running co2 and all the bells and whistle but can not grow that thang. Beautiful scape

Hahah... thanks man... what are you trying to grow?.... my carpet is pygmy chain. I dont use co2 just flourish root tabs and dose liquid ferts 2-3 times a week. This is the tank now.
