Lets see if the local fish store has all my barbs, maybe get the tank up and running before Christmas. Hmmmm I wonder how much I'm going to be spending on Tiger Barbs? LOL I think this is going to be the most psycho-active tank on MFK, any disagreements and your getting thrown into the barb tank! To be slowly and painfully nipped apart

Also on a side note, how many should I start with? I was thinking 10-15 small ones should be about the same as a 3-4" Oscar but whats your guys opinions?

Start with 10. Oh, as a warning, you need to quarantine new arrivals just as a precaution. If it is winter there, careful with ich.

Whats the point in quarantining if they all come from the same tank? The Oscar will hopefully be traded in the same day as I pick them up so the tank will be empty.
