A EBJD and a Sev would probably be your best bet.

Not necessarily. Mixing any 2 cichlids that have been suggested in a 55 will have the potential of 1 picking on the other.It depends much more on the individual fish,than what kind they are.

A sev and firemouth is a good option too.
