Yep, pretty much my only option is to wait it out, i am just bumbed cause i am off on spring break this week and was planning on setting it up. Hopefully Petco will be nice to me and get some more in soon.

If I were you I would talk to the manager about ordering yours, that you are tired of waiting on it. Petcos around here suck, they have no clue whats going on in their own store so. Yea i am getting a little impatient lol, the day before my parents agreed to let me get one they had 2 in stock. And i don't think that i can order one because they don't have them on their website. Could/how would i order one?

I just checked on there, and the deals you are able to get are AMAZING i wish down here in miami deals would come this often..
CL is pretty safe as long as you talk to the person beforehand THROUGH THE PHONE.... Most people that say to email are scams... Just set up somewhere public to meet and if they seem like good people, go look at the tank...

I still don't understand why a pet store can't just order you one and have it in a week. Sounds like a poor establishment to me. Go to another lfs. 55 gallon complete setups are always pretty dirt cheap. Even cheaper if you buy just the tank. With your Dad's help you seem to be adept with wood working. You can make your own nice canopy to match your stand you've already built and spend no more than 20$ on lighting at Home Depot. I spent 19.99 on a 4' light for my 125g at Home Depot.
