Sweeet tank!!! But you need pikes and pbass to finish it up!

There has been this johanna pike at the LFS for sale for awhile I thoght about piking up but I would rather some cobra pikes. My worry with having them in this tank instead of one of my 125s is that they would get ate in time. PBass however is not out of the question. Just not any time soon.

I love that tank very impressive i want it, me thinks it needs some bogwood or plants though!

Thanks. Plants in this tank would suck IMO I might in the future do one MASSIVE piece of driftwood but not till my niger is gone he needs all te room he can get right now. lol

the only thing id get for that tank is some bichirs. so if i was to stock that tank it would be bichirs and some african pikes.

Bichers would be sweet. But with the cats I would ave to find them all at least 12-15" b/c any smaller and I know the RTCxTSN would at least try to eat it. And I don't want to chance that. It's one of the only bad things I have come across with this tank if I want to buy anything I have to find it at least 1' or I am afraid it would get ate. But I also want to keep the stock limited for now.

LOL funny you should ask. It's shop REALLY cheep shop lights. It's got two dual light 4' shop lights I got from menards on sale with 4 sets of bulds for a grand total of I think $35 LOL It looks great and was cheeper then one 3' strip light.

Ye i can see the niger cat needing all the room and live plants would suck because they would be killed and a waste of money but some plastic ones comeing in from the top would look good in my oppinion.
That big piece of wood sound good.
Its a really really nice tank though and the fish are awesome too, nice one!
Also ye get some polypterus

I have but it was before These guys fell into my lap. if these guys wouldn't get so big I would be willing to do something like that but not untill I get a bigger tank (hopefully within 2-3 years) or something dies off. But If I was going to do some large schooling fish I would try to get something a little on the rare side. But not quite sure what.

Thanks Liz. It's REALLY easy to keep clear. IDK if I just put in enough bio media or what but It allways stays really nice. It got bad once but I just was in need of a mech. media change.
