5x2x2 -150g- fish stocking !!!!!!!!!

well i have 5x2x2 tank ready for some fish
i havent kept any big c.a /sa cichlids before
(only discus/angels etc) and lots of african cichlids

i want to make a big semi-agressive community

so what would work?

i was thinking

1 oscar, 1 g.t, 1 severum, 1 blue acara, 1 jack dempsey, 1 salvini,
and then some nice catties for the bottom

i would get them young and grow em' up. so they get personality and live with eachother (hopefully).

would my list work???

sounds like a good list. I'd keep an eye on the salvini though.

id leave out the blue acara, i tried raising one with my oscars, but my oscars outgrew it and killed it

here look at this and forget about the gold severum and the firemouth they were not killed they were bought that way

hmmm so if i took the acara and sev off the list
it should work?

what could i replace them with?

I could see the reason for removing the acara (being less aggressive and small) but the severum might be ok in that setup, I'd give it a shot.

Just remove the Oscar and replace it with a pair of Firemouth or another Severum or something, everything else will get along with minor bouts of aggression.

Depends what cats you're after too, Cory's are probably just out of the question because a full size GT or JD will have a mung on them.
