Na they're pretty normally priced I've found, and they definitely take great care of their tanks. I wouldn't rate Fish Cave as any cheaper.

Do they have many amercians and s. americans becuase i havent been there in ages and last time i went there i was looking for clown loaches.

No idea about the Bichirs, never seen one in an LFS and I'm not a fan.

oh ok just wondering since i havent seen any around in absolute ages

Um, well. Given your list, they stock everything your after minus the Salvini.

They breed really dark Firemouths which look great at a young age and stripe up nicely when they settle in. They also stock reasonable sized (2") JD's and Blue Acaras. I picked up my big bruiser Severum from there but I'm not sure if they've got any Green Severums in stock at the moment. They definitely have golds.

Mate picked up a nice Aequidens sp. Gold Saum (GT) from there too and they still have some.

Also stock some not so common Americans like the occasional Chocolate Cichlid and Blackbelts.

If you're after a Salvini you could travel to Brisbane, or hope the one they're selling at the Fish/Bird place in Mooloolaba colours up, which I presume it would. Even their Blue Acaras are bloody white.

ok thanks
im thinking change the salvini to a chocolate cichlid.
should work?

1 gold saum

could i keep the uaru instead of saalvini

bump pleaase :-) sorry about double post

Don't get them all at once mate, introduce a few every weekend. I presume your tanks cycled etc. because you've got some bigger tanks there.

You can grow out the fish you listed but don't get the Uaru, they're best kept in pairs at bare minimum, or three without a pair.

Personally I wouldn't bother buying fish to grow out and sell in a community tank. While you might make money of it, it might also cause problems, and you could get attached and then not have the room for them at full size.

As for your stocking.

Week 1: 3 Firemouth
Week 2: Severums, GT
Week 3: Blue Acara, Brasiliensis
Week 4: JD / Salvini
