yea I find the government is blaming enviromental loss on natives when it's their own companies out there distroying and acre of wetlands and hour
sure the non native do a little damage but not near as much as the bulldozers and pollution

Louie...i agree.

Its funny the way zoning laws are...you can't locate a liquor store next to a school but an industrial site or development can be located on a watercourse or wetlands. The pollution from runoff is intangible i guess?

The runoff from the soil, etc isnt bad the canal takes it up but since its sand/soil /rocks it settles fast and in time becomes cichlid area's.

The loss of grass, trees and ponds now thats another story . It was chuck loaded with green anoles and native tree frogs,

The brown anoles, Cuban treefrogs, House geckoes move in because they can live in that and thus the myth that non natives are pushing out natives .

Of course it depends on the type of development...but subdivisions, golf courses etc are great for pesticide, fertilizer and of course chemicals from cars.

Yes but the run off to me doesnt seem as bad as the actual cement poured over green lol.

There are few farms in my area . One 2 blocks away. I imagine they use lots chemicals as sunflower crops , some type small palm trees and cows but its chuck full of snakes

As long as wild land the animals thrive and can recover but no wild land as you know means no animal habitat.

Florida is becoming the exotics breeding ground for the pet trade, and we don't have to do anything!!! It sucks, but it's kinda cool in a way. Free monitors for everyone!!!

We didnt evolve in America as well as monitors didnt so they have the same amount of rigth to be there as we do;)

Agreed. Humans are BY FAR the most destructive, invasive species. Worse than all other invasive species combined.
