I can see how they'd get confused though
Same size as sajica, female will get to like 4-5" if you never breed her, the thing I like about nicoya convicts is the females get very pronounced streamers too
Not sure which locale since there's a couple in the hobby, but just going off of shape it's probably bagaces. Where did you get her? Here's some pictures of females I've had:
Hybridfish7 Those pics are definitely the same kind of fish as what I have. Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it! I got her at a LFS near Atlanta, Georgia, USA. They only had 1 and the people that worked there didn't know they had it when I asked for info on it. I googled what they had listed and for some reason thought it was a Sajica. It's the first fish everyone sees in my tank because it's so bright and active. Hopefully it won't get too big or too aggressive for the 60g tank.
