I apologize for the quality, this was taken right just right now from my Iphone. Also, don't mind the filter.. I'm looking forward to buy a canister. I just wanted to prepare the water for my future fishes..

yea every freshwater ray is illegal

I'm a bit confused... So what if it's a Motoro? is that legal.. I'm assuming no, since it's a ray.

Motoros are the most common ray available and he was just saying that in most likely hood it was a motoro. Yes, it still means it's illegal.

I'm sorry, you are talking to a noob right here :(. Please be more specific.

:) That's what I figured. Before you put fish into that tank it will need to have a colony of bacteria to dispose of ammonia and nitrites.

Here is a link

Learn what the nitrogen cycle is, it will save you many a headache down the road.

esspecially when you are talking about delicate fish.

NO, especially when you talking about ANY fish. Why on earth would you subject any fish to ammonia and nitrite poisoning?

Last time i tested the water was last night, and these were the follwing results:

NO3 : 0-10
NO2 : 0
Ammonia : Ideal
Hardness : Hard
Alkalinity : between 120-180
pH : Neutral

I actually used the test strips for these and please note that these were tested last night. I'm not sure if ya'll noticed, but I put 2 Angel fishes in there to get some bacteria growing before I buy my fish.

I also have another question, would live plants be a good idea for my tank? I'm thinking of getting some. Thanks in advance!

I didn't say it wasn't importamt for all fish, most tropical fish can with stand small amounts of it but delicate fish die at even the lowest levels. NO need for arguement here, so I wouldn't bother replying.
