600 gallon fiberglass tank with window

Is the tank shedding that bad? You don't think it will make it until the replacement comes in? I would pond armor the whole thing if you can so it stays together until then and if you can buy one of those 300 gallon rubbermaid until the process is over. Sorry to hear about your situation it is problematic at best.

I don't think u understand.....it's more of the hasstle of having to deal with all of this....a 300 gallon stock tank would be too small to hold all the fish even for temporary.....and I'm not going to use pond armor on this tank .....why spend extra cash on my part when this is due to pentairs ****ty tanks.....and this requires me to take the fish out and hold them somewhere else.....why would I do any of this when they can send me a new tank......

The paint job quite bad if it peeled off after 2 weeks. Fibreglass tank is a norm over this part of ther world. Normally they used food grade epoxy paint. It is non toxic. I have repaint mine 3-4 times already in the last 5 years.

This isn't a 75 gallon tank...I cant just take the fish out and put them in a bucket.... it's not that easy with big rays and fish.....

i believe the option of drying them on the floor was tabled as well. just saying. I know this guy who lives in your state on the other side near Pittsburgh who will gladly take all of them. Has a weird profile pic of Morgan Freeman, great guy.

Do you see any issues that may arise from drilling the sides for 2" schedule 80 bulkheads (3.18" hole with room needed for a 4.05" flange). I cant tell if the side fiberglass reinforcement would get in the way at all.

Also from what you can tell, would there be any issues drilling and installing a bottom drain?

Are u using 2...2 inch gravitt drains?......that should be good for the 2900 laguna max flow

Yeah i think. basically 2x 2" holes drilled in side n fed directly to sump on bottom. Im just questioning if abs can handle the weight of the pvc connections thats all
