i'm not an aro keeper, but i know what i see, and i have a good graphic card, it looks almost identical as a normal silver. all of you aro hobbyists are overtaken by the fact that--OOOOHH!! RARE!!..that you can't see it looks the same as normal aro's. IF it was a albino SB Grade AAA Xback, it would at least look rare, but i think this aro could be misconstruded as a normal silver, being that it doesn't look all that different than normal silver (mabey a TAD lighter in color).

first time anybody's called me a kid on MFK too, so used to being called an old man...

Normal as a regular silver, maybe should invest in better glasses.

mike i'm not insulting your fish, i would like to understand the difference between normal silvers color and platinums, because according to you and everyone who has posted in this thread, there is a a HUGE difference i am missing. honeslty what is it. is it a sheen of special scaleing, or what?!?!

a member here was offered one for $1.5K. Expensive fish, but not bank breakers. Maybe if they were able to get platinums without the DE...

better pix plz!!! either the pix don't do that fish justice or da's not a platinum aro. i've seen true platinum up close in person, and they're paper white, no color, no reflection wuz so ever.
it might be the lighting and the blue background that's reflecting color onto the aro though, so better pix plz
