Wow.
I didn't know the setup was only recently put up!
Looks GREAT!
Read only every other page and it still took me forever. lol
If you guys ever move... hit me up for that tank if its not going with you!
It was great to randomly meet you the other night! That was fun to run into a fellow MFKer. Did you notice the look on the Petsmart girl's face just before she walked away! Priceless....
I hope we will be always be able to take it with us. These guys are in here for now, but I know my growing fire eels grabbed dibs on the tank when the big cats are out.

I must admit I was thinking about a tank that big but I got kind of a reality check.
for it will be a bit too much in the livingroom.......
But it's better to realise that after a thread like this, than after starting a project like this.
Great info and very helpfull in making up my mind.
Um, yeah. Not a tank for the living room unless you do some serious custom plumbing... When you overflow this puppy, all the neighbors know. In fact, I had one neighbor come by to make sure my tank hadn't broken. I had to explain to him that if it had, he would be certain of that. He was worried about 55 gallons... He has no idea how crazy it would be if the whole thing went!

Ive watched your youtube videos again and again and i cant believe you had all those cats in a 180!
Seriously! It was so cramped. I was trying for months to get this thing up due to one thing or another, and well you know how catfish grow... Its funny though. They still lay all over each other. Even my mother comment on the fact that they were just piling on each other, and couldn't figure out why they wouldn't spread out. I'm sure they'd like a little bit of hiding spots, but that's coming in a couple weeks. My calendar is packed.
