Thanks mate hope all your fish are doing good! You remember my temensis "bahia" (pinima)? My baby died a couple of days ago. Damn twas my fault i have to admit. Went to shanghai for vacay and brought some aquatic plants back home and put it in my bahias tank without even quarantining the plant or even washing it first. 6 hrs later the bahia was gone. Damn i figured the shanghai guys mustve sprayed something to the plants to let it live emersed much longer coz thats the only reason why my baby died. Anyway just had to share. Very heartbreaking :(

On another note, one other thing i bought in shanghai was a uv sterilizer. I wanna ask how it works so i posted a question in the filtration section of mfk, but i wanna post my questions here also and maybe some of ya'll with uv sterilizer experience can help me out. Ill just copy paste my post ayt, thanks guys!

Hi guys i just recently installed a 36 watt uv sterilizer to my tank which is about 700 to 800 gallons (yeah, not really 600 gallons after all). I bought the uv sterilizer in the hopes of killing off an algae bloom but when i got back from a vacation the tank suddenly balanced itself out.. Nevertheless i still planned to install the system for other uses which is to kill off other harmful stuff and of course to prevent algae blooms from happening again. Anyway so i attached a pump which pumps about 350 gallons per hour. The hose that connects the pump to the uv measures about two feet high. im no good with calculations and have only brushed the surface on how uv sterilizers work, but is the pump's water pressure adequate to kill off algae and other bad bacteria in the water? Thanks pls ask additional questions if you need more info.

Great aquarium!!
