Well I'm going to scrap the stand. The guy at home depot screwed me, all the cuts he did were off. Some by a 1/4 inch. Nothing on the stand is square and the boards are now warped. Time to start over.

A bit of variation isn’t a huge deal in stands. Level and evenly supported are most important. Typically people put flat plywood under acrylic tanks anyway. I think it looks good man. just needs some support beams and ply.

Well the first stand turned into a side project! I turned it into a beefy work bench. It fit exactly in the space I had.

2nd stand is underway. Much better.

I think that is going to be a great tank/stand combo. Have you decided on lighting? I assume it will probably be some sort of LED? Are you going to build a canopy for it? I think a nice canopy would really make this an amazing display tank for all sorts of fish. Looking forward to more pics.
