I bet it's inch thick acrylic. I just bought a 450 with two 55 gallon sumps and pumps for $1000 and that was a good deal!

Yours is a very good deal!

Do a search on here about acrylic scratch removal. I bought a buffer and had mine scratch free in about 4 hours. It was hard work even with the buffer but totally worth it.
 
This is a prime example of the top bracing on an acrylic tank. It would be damn near impossible to cut glass like this and no one does for fish tanks.

 
not only that but a tank of that size made of glass would weigh so much that it would be damn near impossible to move without a crane or other heavy equipment.

Acrylic can be buffed out to look great again with a little bit of work. make sure all the seams look good and see how old it is and how long its been sitting. If its glass as stated above your not moving it without a forklift or small crane good luck its a good deal if it holds water
