  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah, the website is a project I was going to do but never really got started on it...

Might make something of it later, for now I just have the domain waiting for that "later" :)

Pond was too small so I made a few changes last weekend:

Here's the liner (6x10 meters)

That's how I left the pond, should be nice when I get back on friday and continue work on it.

The pond is roughly 3 x 7 x 1 meters (23 x 10 x 3.3 feet), so it should hold about 15.000 liters, or 5500 gallons.

What do you think?

Looking good keep us updated. What are you going to keep in it?

Probably just gonna throw a few guppies, goldfish or something in it to begin with - see if they can live there. If all goes well my RTC and TSN can go there in 1-2 years :)

Wahoo :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2 New Pond !!!

Man, I'm sorry...I lost tract of you :(. Glad to see your still at it.

How did the other pond fare?

You are ambitious .

So that's the the weekend house huh? Sweet! (could use a tree or two :D ).

Your weather is still a little brisk for me, but at least it's not 96F (with a feels like temp of 105F and it's not our hot month yet!)

Keep up the good work.

Worked on the pond the past 2 days or so, here's what it looks like now:

The pond is roughly 13,000 liters, or about 3500 gallons.

I also worked on the plumbing and the pond is now warmed up by the water that flows from the radiators in the house. The pond is currently stable at 27.5°C, 81.5°F.

I threw in a few goldfish to see if something could live there, 2 days since and they're doing good, chasing bugs and looking lively. The water is a little murky because of dirt going into the pond while I was working on it :)

I'm probably going to throw in a bunch of guppies and see if they survive the winter. I figure with the added flow of water in the radiators (to warm the house up) during the winter months will keep the pond warm enough the whole year. Hopefully. :)

Oh and I know the bridge may look a little tacky, but my mother wanted it and I don't care :)

Bump because "someone" replied to 30 old threads right after I posted the update and I want comments :)

P.s. the temp is still stable and the 12 goldfish are loving the space :)
