Well if I ever make enough money to leave Montana again I'll put it on my list of places to visit! ;). Sweet! Thank you. Not to sound morbid, but I have always wanted to clean of a goonch skull! lol, you better start powerfeeding that guy so he'll have enough meat on him to feed everyone!!! :) let me know how he tastes!!! lol, when time gets close I may also send you some specifics for removing the head without damaging the skull too much. lol, thank you so much! The thought of getting to work on a goonch skull really makes my night! Honestly I'd rather have a live one though so until I get it's head I am uber jealous!
 
Temps in the Goonch tank have now dropped to the high 60's. It doesn't seem to grow much in the winter so maybe a couple more years until this guy out grows the 210 and lands on the grill.

lol, throw a heater in to boost his metabolism. Seems to work well on cold water catfish IMO. I had a Yellow bullhead that I caught out of 60 degree water and acclimated him to 83 degrees. Within a year he had grown from 8" to 14". That's pretty good for a bullhead I think lol. Too bad my channel catfish ate him. Also my channel catfish kept at the same temp had a growth rate that rivaled my RTC. It was ridiculous how fast that thing was growing. Just some "food" for thought! lol ;)

I will never, ever, kill a pet, for food. This is just a joke for all the losers asking what I'm going to do when the Goonch reaches 5 feet. What I wil do is build/buy a larger tank - duh :screwy:

Anyway some update pics - Goonch's 210 gallon tank is at 69 degrees and it's still feeding voracity.
Note: Some pics are from under the tank, if your drinking, brace yourself...........
