So gorgeous!!!! lol, don't know if I asked already, but can I use some of the pics of him in my monster catfish sticky update? 
Your Goonch eats pellets, nice! Wish I could get mine to eat pellets. Mine eats live or chunks of Anchovies. He ate my 9" Micronema Bleekeri which kinda surprised me cause that fish was over halve his length. I guess he was really hungry.

This is a boring fish FYI. It really doesn’t move much but looks super cool!
I never had a problem feeding this guy. When I first got him I was feeding half a shrimp once a week. Now it's on Massivor, Tilapia Filets, shrimp, and the occasional African Cichlid……
Yea I know they don't do much. I had one some years ago. Thinking about getting another. How did you get yours on pellets and how long did it take?
It just started begging for food leaning against the glass head up (vids) so i dropped some pellets in. I think at that angle the pellets moved by its head and triggered a feeding response. From that point on it went for pellets.

This is the species that grows to enormous sizes correct? I was wondering what you plan to do with him later on. Im sure you already said but i cant find it.

Thanks for asking. Every year I have an AZ MFK meet up with the local fish keepers. Usually I have 1 or two large fish that have out grown their tanks and we grill them up. Weve had Pacu, Arowana, Niger cats, one huge ST Dat. Last year one guy brought over a couple Red Bellied Piranhas yum. As soon as this goonch gets to 3 its getting grilled up 
Seriously though, I will just put it in a bigger tank if it out grows this one
