Yeah I just added this and the Goonch loves it! I'm going to try to find a larger one or maybe one more the same size. To me the Goonch seems to struggle and gasp for air. The power heads help it breath.

Can't decide if it's majestic of fugly... reguardless its a healthy beast! and I hear ya about the massivore..
That could be my picture taking and weak tank/glass cleaning.....
From behind the masive head the body of the fish is shark like. Super cool. You can see its made for high flowing water or fast swiming

Haha... start small! Get a foot long one, you'd have a couple years at least till he's a threat to your gars!
I would LOVE to see a goonch with some gars. Talk about a toothy tank!
i've got 4 gar in my tank with tge goonch 2 gator and 2 florida it's deffinately a nice toothy mix
