Try keeping an eye on ebay for a tank too, have heard of some good sized ones being available there. Moose picked up a 7' x 30" x 18" deep ray tank on there not too long ago.

my mum might change hear mind about the tank , so incase i can't have it upstairs i will have to get a 5ft x 3ft instead how long can two rays stay in there . becuase she migth worried about the weight. thanks

few years.... there is no set time limit how clean you keep your water and your feeding determine growth...

i got my first motoro at 5in diss she was in 4x2x2 for 18 months before i moved her in to my 6ft tank at 8in diss. good filtter and good mixed diet is key. my 4ft tank had two internal filtters and a fluval 305.water changes twice a week. if you got the cash fx5 is the one to go for.
