6ft x 2ft x 2ft tank

Not necessarily a hood but some form of coverage on the sides to make sure they can't slide out. They can get some pretty good speed and can easily slide up the side of your tank/pond and wind up on the floor. Alot of keepers use nets to span the top of their enclosure, fastened at the sides. Since you are using a tank a hood would be the most visually attractive method along with some extra coverage where there are any openings.

the glass tops you would normally buy are perfect... they hold in heat and keep the rays in...

right i have the prices 6ft x 2ft x 2ft tank-£210
6ft x 30 iches x 2ft tank- £269
6ft x 4ft x 2ft tank- £347
these are the prices for the glass tank only. what do you think

get the biggest possible

the plan is off now because i thinking of moving out of my parents house this year, i need the find a car mechanic job, then iam out.

What glass thickness u got on the 6x4x2 as 347 is cheap and that will need building inside your house trust me i just add one built the weight of the tank is very very heavy and u wont be able to move it through your door ways to get it in

the glass thickness is 10mm, is building your own easy.

6x4x2 in 10mm?

won't 12mm be safer? i know it's not high but still, thats a lot of water in there.

tank that size is best to get pros to do it. as that's alot of water to go wrong with
