Stay away from haps except for smaller types as they will out grow a 4fter. Nothing over 8 inches.
72G bowfront, what would you stock?

Yeah I'm looking for fish that stay around 6-7" ideally. Mike what do think you of the fronts idea? My gf's dad said I can have the one big one and one small one or I can have 3 little ones.
I would say no to the fronts. They will not do well in a 4ft tank for long. 18 inches at widest is not good. If it were 24 inches perhaps for a while, but not for this size tank
Cool thanks. My dad said not to get the frontosas because they'll get out competed for food by the peacocks/haps. Do you guys find this to be true? (Yeah the only time I really talk to my dad is when we talk fish haha)
O well that settles it no fronts. I'll be picking up 6 peacocks tomorrow. Do you guys agree thats good for a 72G? I'm not 100% sure on what types they are but my friend works at the lfs and has been keeping a peacock/hap tank so I'll ask him which is which.
So I got 6 peacocks now in the 72G by themselves. They kinda chase each other a lot, should I add more fish to break up the tension?
Check out a few male C. Boreliy. Purple head and red to rust colored body. I have 2 males in my 90 that are very mellow. I also have a Fosso. Rosturus in there and a mollotto hap. All are about 6-7 inches with the fosso about 8. Big old 9 inch synodontis Angelicus. This tank is very peaceful. The Rosturus sometimes lipp-lock but that doesn't last long since nobdy will run from him . Check these fish out on google.\ to see spectacular colors.
