Make the tank look super scary like there is nothing in it. Then when u add food the fish come out like crazy.

yea thats exactly what im going for fishy12, giant logs in there, then food enters and "wham!" . orrr the idea of having something sinister just slowly moving around in there bearing its teeth . both ideas sound great. thanks for all the help everyone

wolf fish (erythrinus, not hoplias)

wolf cichlids are neat too & have big teeth. will definitely need to upgrade the tank though as they get huge.
